Jayshree V. Ullal, a British-American billionaire business leader, is known as the Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of cloud networking company Arista Networks. She was born in London to an Indian family and raised in New Delhi. Ullal completed her primary education at the Convent of Jesus and Mary in Delhi. She then moved to the United States for further education, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 1981 from San Francisco State University. In 1986, she earned a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management and Leadership from Santa Clara University.
Early Career
Ullal began her career as a Senior Strategic Development Engineer at Fairchild Semiconductor. She then worked at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), where she was involved in the design of high-speed memory chips for IBM and Hitachi. Subsequently, she joined Anagram Systems, where she played a significant role as Director of the Internet Working Business Unit.
